About SkyGuided
The origin of the project
SkyGuided was born from a simple observation: many people look at the night sky without truly understanding what they are seeing.
Mobile apps, sky maps, occasional explanations…
These tools can help identify objects, but they do not build a structured and autonomous understanding.
The project aims to provide a clear and progressive learning path designed to help learners understand and navigate the night sky and gradually explore the structure of the visible universe.
An approach focused on autonomy
Understanding rather than memorizing
The goal is not to accumulate isolated facts or names, but to understand the relationships, structures, and patterns that shape the visible sky.
Observing the real sky
The learning process is based on concrete observation, adapted to real conditions: season, latitude, and sky quality.
Building lasting reference points
The method favors simple and repeatable structures that can be used year after year.
What SkyGuided is not
SkyGuided does not offer:
- an advanced astrophysics course
- an exhaustive encyclopedia of celestial objects
- an abstract theoretical training
- a learning experience based exclusively on smartphone use
Its scope is deliberately defined: real orientation and structured understanding of the visible naked-eye sky.
Field background
Professional certified guide — nearly 1,000 guided night sky observations since 2015
SkyGuided was developed from years of real night sky observation sessions conducted with beginners and travelers in dark-sky locations.
Repeated field observations revealed the same learning difficulties again and again: confusion between celestial reference points, dependence on mobile applications, and the absence of a clear learning structure.
The teaching approach presented in SkyGuided comes directly from this field experience and focuses on making orientation under the night sky understandable and reproducible.
The SkyGuided Path
SkyGuided is designed as a progressive learning path that expands beyond basic orientation in the night sky.
Night Sky Navigator is the first level of this path.
Later levels will progressively explore the nature of stars, the structure of the universe, and the scientific models used to understand it.

The Night Sky Navigator course
Night Sky Navigator is currently the core of the project and the first level of the SkyGuided Path.
It offers:
- a structured progression
- short modules
- a sequential logic
- direct field application
Estimated duration of the initial path: about 2 to 4 hours.
Immediate access after payment.
One-time investment.
Unlimited access as long as the platform remains active.
